Xbox 360 Game Replacement
How do i get my replacement dvd drive for xbox 360 to work?
I recently replaced my phillips xbox 360 dvd drive because it wouldnt open or read discs anymore.. So i replaced it with a new phillips drive… I put everything together correctly but now it wont play my games… When i insert a game it will only read it as if it were a dvd movie… How can i fix this? Do i have to install different software or something?
you would actually have to reinstall the firmware for that drive because the coding is different so what u need to do is flash the xbox. or what you can du is take off the old dvd logic board and put it on the new one so the coding will match
