No MGS4 will not be out on the 360
No the 360 doesn’t play Blu Ray (or HD) DVDs (you have to buy an add on for the HD DVD but since they’re not making HD DVD anymore its useless)
Yes the newer 360s have a HDMI socket
in the case of the 360 there is still a 16% chance you will get the RRoD since only the chip has been improved and not the ventilation system, and the chip hasn’t been improved THAT much.
yes there are more games on the 360 but most are either terrible or more FPS games and once you own COD4 and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 then there’s no need for another FPS game (Halo is over rated – its no different from previous editions unfortunatly) There are a few other decent games on the 360 – Gears of War however is the only ‘exclusive’ (not really exclusive since its on PC too) that’s worth mentioning though. Everything else that’s good can be got on the PS3.
The PS3 uses bluetooth (so any other bluetooth device can connect), blu ray disks (so as games get bigger in file size there wont be any need for data compression) and also now has the Dualshock 3 (yes 3 so all the 360 fanboys can stop going on as if vibration was Microsofts idea – especially since it wasnt even sony’s idea) wifi internet connection with it.
worked out with all the additional extras you have to buy to allow a 360 to do what the PS3 does ‘out-of-the-box’ it will cost you 1.57 times as much so the 360 is not cheaper. and that’s only after 1 year, you still have to pay to play online. which is no better than the PS3.
I’ve played COD4 and PES2008 on both consoles in the same house over the same connection and there is NO difference in the playing of the game – yes the 360 allows you to text whilst in the game but since the microphone also works on both i just use that.
any lag, slow down, glitches are due to the game or either yours or your opponants connection not the console or its server (unless you get a network server error – more likely to happen on 360)
