if you add another line to your verizon wireless does the same phone discount apply as when you sign a new?

Yes. Just know that if say you have a year left on your contract and the new phone is for your wife. If you start it when you have a year left they will have 2 years because there contract starts when they got it. Like mine is up in november and my parents just got new phones this summer becuase we are on different cycles.
