jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3g problems?
i bought an iphone 3g it has been restored with iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore and jailbroken with redsn0w_win_0.9.6b1 and iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore. i also downloaded repo666.ultrasn0w.com (the unlocking app) i think. i have simple mobile on the sim card and when i put it in the sim slot it eather says searching or i only have a dot that looks like one bar but does not let me make call. just says call failed. what could be wrong with this phone? i’v tried the sim card on 2 other phones and it works fine but not on my iphone. the version is 4.1 (8B117) and modem firmware is 05.14.02 if it matters. please help me. could it be my physical phone thats causing it or just the firmware/software? thanks
it should be the problem of the unlocker tool.most unlockers meet some problem when unlocking 4.1. here is a smart one that works fine with 4.1 version. you can have a try.
