Tips to Fix Xbox 360 Game Disc Errors
Game disc errors are a big problem with the Xbox 360. When you are playing your favorite game, your screen is saying “Game disc is Unreadable”. It’s no fun, believe me it’s happened to me before, but the good news is that several DVD drive problems can be fixed! In this article I will discuss different DVD drive problems and how to fix Xbox 360 Game Disc.
There are a number of problems associated with the DVD drive of an Xbox 360 game disc, but the three main problems that most users face are listed below
1) Xbox 360 game disc not being detected at all by the DVD drive
2) Xbox 360 game disc is being detected as “unreadable”
3) DVD Drive tray will not open or will not close
How Can Xbox 360 Game Disc Be Fixed?
I have come up a couple of solutions that will solve these problems.
- Buy a New Drive and Replace it Yourself – If you know what you are doing, you could simply buy a new game disc drive and replace it yourself. Game disc drives cost around $20-$50, but be careful because if you do not know what you are doing, you could wreck your console beyond repairing.
- Mail the Console Back to Microsoft – As long as the console is still under warranty, you can ship it back to Microsoft for repairs. If it’s not under warranty it could cost $100 or more to fix it. Microsoft will not tell you how they fixed your problems and the process takes around 4-8 weeks.
- Invest small money by purchase a good fix game disc software – you may pay some money for this console repair guides. As I knew some special software in the market, if you are not satisfied their software they will offer money back guarantees.
