tomtom iphone 3g ? please help?
i have a jail broken iphone 3g and the tomtom app 1.3 works great but i have poor reception how do i get better gps signal please help!!!! once agen the tomtom app 1.3 and it says i have poor signal how do i get it to work better
If I recall correctly, the iPhones don’t have very strong internal GPSs. Since you have a jailbroken iPhone you can get Roqy GPS, which will let you use an external GPS over bluetooth with the iPhone. I use it with my iPod touch all the time, and it works great. I bought a $30 GPS off of ebay and get great signal. Roqy works with Tomtom and all of the other GPS apps that you can buy. This is a lot cheaper than buying the offiical Tomtom car dock that includes its own GPS to boost the signal. Check out http://www.roqy-bluetooth.net/wp/
