Second Hand Ps3 Console
When buying a games console, is second hand sufficient?
I’m 16 and have never had a games console before. My parents don’t earn much (though my brother had a nintendo ds before we got burgled but he didn’t like it anyway). I don’t have a huge budget and can’t afford a ps3, wii or xbox 360 anyway, but was wondering whether a second hand ps2 + games bundle bought from eBay would be ok or would it be better to buy one new? Are PS2 games still in production now. I don’t really have enough money to spend much over £100 : /
£100 = $160 approx
PS2 games are starting to dwindle, but if this is your first console, you’ll be almost overwhelmed by the amount of content. They will still make PS2 games for a while though.
I would advise to keep saving for a new PS2, though buying used games from chains like Gamestop is just fine, because you can return them if you don’t like them or if they don’t work.
Make sure you buy stuff like consoles and accesories from major video game retailers.
And congrats, you have just joined a proud group of people who can say that they own a console.
