Which is better for the environment and gas prices – paper bags made from recycled paper or plastic bags?
I ask because isn’t plastic bags a petroleum made product?
Before I forget to mention it – I’m talking about bags used in grocery stores and department stores that the store provides for customers to take their goods they bought home.
Cloths bags are the best but in regards to your question, I’d say recycled paper. Plastic bags involve the use of petro and it takes long time for them to decompose (I don’t think they can be recycled either).
