Push Up Bars P90x
What if you miss one routine in the p90x workout?
I plan on starting p90x but somewhere around weeks 8 or 9 Im going camping for three days. I can probably do routines like lets say if it was scheduled to do chest and back, I can do the push ups but I won’t be able to do the back exercises requiring the pull up/chin up bar. How will this affect my workout schedule?
I would suggest you go to your local sporting goods store and pick up an appropriate strength workout band for just this type of thing! I realize it doesn’t sound manly but the suckers really work! My bf will steal mine on occasion when he still wants a great arm/back/chest work out but really doesn’t have the strength to get his chin over that bar. So it can be a great replacement for you that will still give you a good workout, be low impact and portable! The one I got at Schiels even came with a door attachment so I can take it to hotel rooms with me! Maybe you could just drape a towel over a sturdy tree branch and then wrap the band around the branch like I do the chin up bar at home! The blanket would protect both the tree and the band! You can also use the band for other great workouts like the ‘heavy pants’ and the ‘lawnmower’.
