backup ps3 games..modchip?
do i need to add a modchip to my ps3 to play backup games if i dont have the ps3’s original hard drive i upgraded the hard drive a couple months ago will it recognise backups without modchip

You can re download all your originaly bought items from the store (i think there maybe a limit however).
Otherwise use use your Blu-ray discs..
If your talking about your “backups” with exaggerated quotations. Then something that’s a lot easier to pirate would have been better..
