How come the same games for both systems (xbox360 & ps3). The 360 ones have better reviews?
i dont understand this, and it was also the same in the last console generations, usually the xbox games were ranked higher than the ps2 version
The problem comes with game developers haven’t mastered the Playstation 3 yet. Their is nothing wrong with the playstation 3 and their is nothing wrong with the Xbox. The reason the xbox has better reviews isn’t the fault of the hardware but the fault of the developer.
You must realize that the playstation 3 is different then the Xbox. The Xbox is based on Windows Programming enviroment. Well crap every developer knows Windows Programming. The playstation 3 is based off something completely different and new. The Cell chip, and you can do that math all day it will show that the Playstation 3 has almost twice the power of the Xbox 360 but until developers learn how to use it their isn’t much they can do with it.
Another thing is the time the consoles have been avalible to the developers. The Xbox came out almost a year before the Playstation 3.
This isn’t the first time it has happened. This happened on the release of the Playstation 2. The developers would compare the Playstation 2 to the Dreamcast (which was also based on Windows) and say how much easier it was to develope games for dreamcast then it was for the Playstation 2, and even though the dreamcast was cheaper and easier to program for the playstation 2 still came out on top selling more consoles then the Xbox Gamecube and Dreamcast combined and almost double that.
I would just say for now give it time. Developers will learn how to develop better for the playstation 3.
