Ps3 40gb
If you switch a 40GB ps3 hard drive out and put in a 500GB ps3 hard drive will it play ps2 games?
I am wondering if I switch out my 40GB hard drive in my ps3 and put in a 500GB hard drive will it start to play ps2 games?
If not could you install a ps2 emulator for the ps3?
PS2 backwards compatibility has nothing to do with the size of the hard drive, adding a bigger hard drive simply adds more space, nothing more.
The 40 GB PS3 does not have the Emotion Engine Chip or an emulator, so it can’t play PS2 games under any circumstances
I’m also pretty sure you can’t install one on your own
