P90x Store
What’s a good protein shake and recovery drink for p90x that I can buy in a local store (like GNC)?
I’m starting p90x and it lists that I need to use a protein shake and a recovery drink. I have some Muscle Milk around the house, would that work well for a protein shake? I was thinking about this for a recovery drink: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2138542
Anyone who used p90x have any suggestions that work well with the program?
I have been doing p90x, and i haven’t started taking the recovery shake yet. But i know that whey protein works very well when taken after a workout, especially like p90x. I use body fortress whey protein, its very cheap, 15 dollars at your local walmart, it taste great, you can take it with milk or water(and yes it actually taste good when you take it with water). It raises protein synthesis if taken 15-20mins after a workout. It is great for recovery, i can tell a big difference when i take it after my workouts. Plus it has 52g of protein and only 260 calories. It is a pretty good, yet inexpensive product that i would recommend to anyone. Hope this helps.
