What update to use for old xbox 360 before jtag hack?
I have a old xbox 360 that has the old dashboard prior to the NXE update. It’s a launch model that had a faulty dvd drive and I purchased another console while letting this one collect dust. I was wondering if there is a certain update I should apply before I attempt jtag. Any help will be appreciated, Thank you in advancement.
You don’t need to update anything, usually the lower the dash the better. It has to be below 2.0.8 because any dash after 2.0.8 has more code written in the update to correct the exploit. You can just follow any jtag tutorials and be up and running in no time. Just read everything through a couple times so you know what you have to do before you do it.
As for mr. geek squad employee you should know what you’re talking about before you type an answer. If you were banned on an xenon console you can easily rewrite nand and change your dvd key and serial number to one that’s not banned. It’s really not that difficult since the jtag would already be installed.
