New Xbox 360 Console Release Date
Another xbox question??? brand new Halo 3 disc not working??
I just got my halo 3 disc, brand new straight out of the case.
like a lot of new games i have gotten, on my farely old console “Christmas after it came out”, I get a messege when i put the disc in that says “Please put this disc into an Xbox 360 console”
I don’t understand, I think it’s because my console is not as up-to-date, but what can i do to make my new games work? it really makes me mad, and only works on new releases, my old games still work fine
and, my xbox is obviously out of warranty, and i have no money to buy a new one, so what should i do?
Okay, nevermind, i called xbox customer support and i’m sending my xbox in for repair
Take the disc back and ask the retailler to try it on another Xbox. if it doesn’t work they should replace it, otherwise the fault is probably with your Xbox.
The DVD drives do tend to go, my friend had the same problem that stopped his Xbox 360 from recognising Xbox 360 discs but his old Halo 2 games was fine – for a couple of weeks then it wouldn’t work. Then he got Microsoft to fix it and they replaced his motherboard.
