Hot Xbox 360 Games
My new xbox 360 slim gets very hot and so do the games once I take them out. Should I return it?
I bought an xbox 360 slim 4 gb a week ago and I’m noticing some bad trends with it.
1.) The fan gets very hot and so does the other side of the slim.
2.) When I pull games out of the slim the game is just as hot as the fan was.
I understand that the fan is supposed to be slightly warm as it expells the hot air from the console however the heat my slim has is pretty hot. I feel like it isnt normal for it to be that hot. As for the games I get very worried because when removed the game feels just as warm as the side vent does. I’m just wondering if the game and vent are supposed to be that hot, and if not should I make use of my return policy for a new one yet again? Is this heating of the game and fan normal for all games?
i think that this is normal, same thing is happening to me (i have the slim model too), and i was worried about it at first, but i woke up at 3 AM today, and started playing it, and just stopped playing at about 5:30 PM, and i had no negative signs from it, it stayed the same temperature from about 1 hour of play to when i stopped it WAS pretty hot, but like i said i havent had any problems from even when i played it for 14 1/2 hours
