Gold-plated vs Silver Plated Connection for Headphones?
I was wondering if gold-plated connectors for headphones really give a noticeable quality difference as opposed to silver-plated.
I have a pair of sony fontopia’s and want to mod the headphones to fit on the iphone stock headphone by switching the ear pieces. The fontopia’s are gold-plated but the stock iphone headphones are silver.
Unless you have the hearing of a bat, you wont notice any difference at all. Both metals are very conductive.
