Nintendo Wii….download older generation games???
ok so from what i hear….the new Wii will have the aility to download all teh older nintendo systems games onto it.
I havent found any where that shows me that….so here are my questions

Can it do it?
How does it work (wireless net? connect to computer with usb cable?, etc..)
How many games can it hold? Like how big is the hard drive?
How much will the games cost to download?
Anything else reltating to the subject….?….?

The Wii has an integrated WiFi capability. It uses SD Media for storage, similar to what many digital cameras use.
The games that can be downloaded are priced depending on their original console. The cost 500 Wii Points (WP) for NES games, 800 WP for SNES games, and 1000 WP for N64 Games. 1 Wii Point should cost $0.01 in the US (and 1 JPY for the Japanese gamers, I don’t recall seeing anything about European prices). The legacy games are played using the Virtual Console, which acts as a emulation layer to make the games work on the newer hardware.
Gamecube games just play off their regular discs and cannot be downloaded. For Gamecube games, the Wii actually lowers its speed to make them playable, otherwise they’d be too fast if their game speed was dependent on the actual speed of the console.
