Is a Designer Wallet Really Necessary?
There you are, window shopping in a high end department store and you come upon a display case featuring designer wallets. They really do look nice and upon close inspection they are of a noticeably higher quality then the wallet that you own now, or have tended to own in the past. However; there is one sticking issue that is preventing you from making the big switch and making a designer wallet a permanent part of your wardrobe and that is the price.

Why do they cost so much more than you are used to spending ona wallet and do you really need one? There are several reasons that designer wallets cost more than the wallet that you own now. To begin with, they are not massed produced in Asian sweat shops from low grade leather. Far fewer of them are produced and they are created by skilled craftsmen. They also go through a rigid inspection process, so not every designer wallet that is produced makes it to a display case.

Discriminating fashion conscious people accessorize with a designer wallet, not because they have to, but rather because “choose” to. Its an unfortunate fact of life that from time to time people are going to judge you superficially. That is, that rather then spending some amount of time to get to know you before they pass judgment, they are going to do so quickly by what is on your outside.
