What to wear to an interview for overnight at target?
So I have an interview coming up for a position as an overnight stocker at Target…I know everyone says “where heels, pencil skirt, blah blah blah” but in this case I don’t know if that will all still apply. I don’t want to walk in looking like some whack job while the workers are in khakis and baggy dirty red shirts you know? Plus unlike most people I do not even own any heels lol, or any “dressy” attire for that matter…so can anyone help me out? My boyfriend, who works there, suggested just jeans and a nice top, but I want to hear others’ opinions. Also…I am not sure on the whole “purse” matter…I usually am not one to bring my purse into interviews but I have my wallet and keys to bring around for this one so would it be better to use a cheap small purse, or just bring in something like a coach purse? I am not good at all with interview attire with this whole overnight sales associate thing so please help! Thanks.
Jeans are a bad choice. I suggest a decent pair of dress slacks nothing super fancy needed and a blouse that is light on the cleavage. You want to dress up enough to show you are serious for the position. You can wear flats just make sure they aren’t tennis shoes, and you’ll be fine. For purses I have no clue.
