Would it be safe to buy a used Ps3 off craigslist?

Im looking at buying a ps3 bundle but they’re so expensive buying from gamestop, so I am looking at craiglist. Would it be safe to buy one from somebody? Are there any problems that it could have?

Craigslist isn’t really the most reliable of websites to buy an item from. I’m willing to bet that the products off of there are legit most of the time, but you never really know who you’re buying from. You might wind up with a broken PS3 and there’s no real way of getting your money back.

To be safe, I would really just create an eBay account and buy a PS3 from there. They have customer reports and other information to make sure you’re buying from a credible source and not getting ripped off. Just make sure to read the product information first before buying anything, so you dont forget to read the small print saying that they’re just selling a box for the console or something. Plus, it’s still pretty cheap there too, especially if you win a good auction.
